Question: LOan MOdification question?
We are waiting to get a response from our lender on wether or not we can qualify for a loan modification, but my question is how do they calculate your new payment? OUr current payment is $2100.00, but with our current income we really could only afffor a $850 payment, plus insurance and taxes probably would equal aroun $1000.00. Will they be willing to cut our payment this low or would it be a joke to even ask? Our home has about $100k in negative equity, we are in Las Vegas and homes here took a huge nose-dive in the past two years.
