Answer: Obama was a lawyer involved in a suit representing black residents who were being denied loans when they had the SAME qualifications of white buyers!!! He was hired to represent the lawsuit and like any attorney did his job.
This happened in 1994!!! 14 years ago! It had nothing to do with the present crisis, which was caused by weak currency caused by Republican tax cuts and reckless interest rate lowering.
NO COMPANY was forced to give loans to unqualified people - the companies did it THEMSELVES and even forced loans down unqualified buyers throats - that's called PREDATORY LENDING and THAT'S what the Congressional meetings were about, NOTHING TO DO with anybody being forced to make loans and in fact the government was trying to STOP loans being made to unqualified people.
This is all lies and just shows the right wing media has completely given up on even trying to represent the truth.
